World Influencers and Bloggers Association (WIBA) The Code of Ethics

Core Principle:

WIBA members are expected to exhibit individual leadership as a role model for maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct. As members, we they are ethically responsible for the content shared, promoted and amplified media and social networking resources.  

Guidlines: 

  • Acquire and disseminate information through ethical and responsible means.
  • Ensure only thematically appropriate and credible information is used when joining the WIBA campaigns. Investigate the accuracy and source of information before allowing it to be shared with WIBA hashtags and as part of WIBA campaigns. 
  • If you choose to declare on a social network an information about yourself, please maintain it up to date and accurate. 
  • Follow and commit to not violate Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). 

I stand by the mission and support the values pursued by WIBA. By joining the WIBA, I commit to the following: 

  • Not to promote, highlight and share any content related to violence, hatred, discrimination on basis of race, gender, nationality, age or any other forms of intolerance. 
  • Not to be associated with or share the content related to the illicit activity, crime, violation of the human rights and dignities. 
  • Respect the intellectual property rights and maintaining pegs, links and hashtags that can indicate the initial source of the information. 

Should a member of WIBA deviate from the above mentioned principles and violate the Code, the Executive Committee reserves a right to expel and publicly condemn her or him, if necessary.
